How to Clean Your Candle Jar
Step 1: Remove the Wax
Choose one of these methods to remove any leftover wax. Ensure the candle has fully burned out and cooled.
Freezing Method:
Place the jar in the freezer for a few hours. The cold will cause the wax to contract and harden, making it easier to pop out. Use tweezers or a similar tool to gently lift the wax out.
Hair Dryer or Heat Gun Method:
Use a hair dryer or heat gun to gently warm the wax until it softens. Carefully wipe it away with paper towels.
Step 2: Clean the Jar
Wipe with a Damp Cloth:
Use a damp cloth or a soft microfiber cloth to gently wipe the inside and outside of the jar.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners:
Do not use abrasive cleaners or strong chemical products, as these can damage the surface and its protective sealant.
All our jars are coated with a water-based, non-toxic gloss sealer that’s free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and heavy metals, ensuring a safe experience without harmful fumes. The finish is water-resistant, heat-resistant, and designed to maintain its fade-resistant shine. To keep your item looking its best, avoid excessive water exposure, high-humidity areas, and refrain from placing it in the dishwasher.
